Our Inspirational Cause

I truly love connection, kindness and compassion for others and giving back where possible. My mid twenties I volunteered in Nepal as a photographer on an expedition for 80 young Australians for 2 months. Followed by a trip to Papua New Guinea and again back to Nepal in 2019. Each trip I grew as a person and opened my heart and broadened my mind. Working and traveling with like minded people, meeting strong, resilient and adaptable people has made me a better person. From the locals I’ve lived and work with in rural villages to the children I shared time with during remote homestays – Volunteering has introduced me to the most inspiring and enriching people and personal strengths I never knew possible it’s definitely been the most rewarding form of travel.

Aussie Action Abroad provide genuine, experiences for all ages, they are a Not for Profit organisation where all the funds raised go directly to supporting the villagers and local communities in the Marshyandi area in Nepal, Graeme Kent, Graeme Barji or Santa (pictured), whom he is often flondly referred to as –  is the CEO whom I have had the pleasure of working abroad with twice now and have known for over 20 years, if you would like more information on the work @AussieActionAbroad do or interested in voluntering or would like to donate please click here.
