‘My Happy Place’

Part of an ongoing series of illustrative portraiture, my aim is to depict the varying emotions and feelings I encounter – this painting shows my feelings of happiness and bliss and the strength and confidence that shines when Im in that place. The use of bold bright colour representing the inner strength that shines when I feel safe, embrace my vulnerability, trust in decision making and love myself with fierce self compassion. Not waiting or needing approval from anyone else.

She represents me when I’m in full flow of ‘love’ with heart and head in harmony.
