‘Fallen Darkness’ – A Fine Art Reproduction Print of the original Gouache painting by Artist Jodie Westall-Kimpton.

‘Fallen Darkness’ is part of a series of Portraiture illustrations on paper depicting the fine balance of mental health and emotions. The visual expression of what I personally feel at differing times in life.  She is the darkness, loneliness and despair that at times has taken me by surprise, taken my breath and soul and has left me feeling like the darkness will never lift. I know her well and now I realise when she finds her way back to me – that all she needs is love. I am learning to heal her wounds through the only thing that truly heals – SELF LOVE, self compassion and kindness. This painting although gloomy is my reminder to love all parts of myself, embrace my vulnerability and to remember that, this is the way back to the light a light that is always there only hidden under darkness that will lift. Painting, creating and being in nature, for me, brings me back to my heart and out of my head its my healings.  What is yours?

ABOUT OUR ART:

All of our prints are available as unframed archival prints, produced on the highest quality premium, 240gsm matte paper. This is thicker than your standard poster print. Prints can also be purchased framed in a selection of frame styles that arrive ready to hang on your wall. Our prints both framed and unframed are made to order in Australia in a variety of sizes and styles options.

FRAMING:

Our framed prints are assembled in Melbourne, Australia. The frames are made from plantation grown, environmentally sustainable timber with genuine 2mm thick glass which is durable, doesn’t flex and is easy to clean. Frames are available in either a smooth matte white, smooth matte black or a natural timber colour.

Our frames are a premium, contemporary box-styled frame, measuring 2cm wide on the face and 3cm deep against the wall. All frames are ready to hang.

Please allow up to 3mm variance on dimensions as these products are hand-made.

All our orders ship directly from our factory in Melbourne. Please allow up to 1 week for your order to be produced. Then allow additional time for shipping to you depending on your location.

Shipping times to most major Australia metropolitan cities is less than 1 week.  Allow up to 1-2 weeks more for regional and remote locations.
