‘Contentment’ – Gouache, Watercolour and Gold Foil

Part of an ongoing series of illustrative portraiture, my aim is to depict the varying emotions and feelings I encounter –  Contentment’ represents the softer part of my nature my feminine side the gentle parts of myself- she is when I feel the most comfortable, calm and quiet,- the quiet natural, spiritual side of me, inspired and in flow when alone with oneself in nature or painting. The aura that shines when I’m happy within. Not looking to others for acceptance or guidance just standing in truth. 

She represents me when I’m in full flow of ‘love’ with heart and head in harmony.
